Open Mind finalists announced

The Open Mind jury committee has nominated sixteen researchers to present their out-of-the-box research idea during TEKNOWLOGY. Seven of these finalists will receive a grant of 50,000 euros during the festival to carry out their research for one year. Which ideas will be presented? Watch the application videos now.

About Open Mind 

In line with the ‘people, planet, profit’ thought, the research programme Open Mind encourages researchers to submit out-of-the-box research ideas that contribute to creative and sustainable solutions for global societal challenges. Open Mind is all about technology with the possibility of high-impact applications in our society.  

Every year, finalists are selected to present their ideas at TEKNOWLOGY. A professional jury committee will select seven winners who will each receive a grant of 50,000 euros during the award ceremony at the main stage in the afternoon.
