Bert Kip has been a member of the AES Board since 2020 and served as CEO of the Brightlands Chemelot Campus until 2023. Kip started his career at DSM, where he was active in the research department and led DSM Resolve. Later, he was director of the Maastricht Forensic Institute and initiator and chairman of the board of TI-COAST, the public-private partnership in analytical sciences.
