Her commitment to innovation and growth led her to various roles in the Dutch tech ecosystem, including running her own company, leading accelerators, and facilitating the international expansion of Dutch startups. Irene also played a pivotal role in organizing large-scale innovation events.
Irene’s journey began with a degree in psychology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), after which she pursued her passion for sustainability by driving the international expansion of the Dutch company Dopper from San Francisco.
From 2020 to 2022, Irene served as Head of Communications at Quantum Delta NL, where she helped scale up the Dutch quantum technology ecosystem. In 2023, Irene returned to her roots in psychology, becoming a mediator and volunteering at OLVG West Hospital in Amsterdam. Alongside these endeavours, she continues her work as a conference moderator, sharing her expertise and vision with audiences worldwide.
